Object 4.2 was written, arranged and recorded between 7pm and 10pm on the 22nd of January 2020 by the musicians involved, completely live and completely improvised.

This object was recorded as a double duo panned hard left and hard right with vocals down the middle. This object, while recorded on the same evening as 4.1 has been released as a separate album due to its complete nature as one album length improvised piece.

Charlie played an Upright Bass made in the GDR through a MXL ribbon mic. Dave played a Fender bass guitar, Matt played a Godin archtop guitar through an Se Electronics condenser mic. Rob played a manipulated acoustic guitar built by Eddie Green of Kirkham and Susie used her voice and various found objects through a Se Electronics condenser mic. It was recorded through a Steinberg UR-RT4 in to Cubase and mixed using Wave Plugins.

No Limiting was used in the making of this object.
